It is beyond the most optimistic expectations with the usage of our ArcticStore containers in Italy. Rental orders in the third quarter of 2014, both for 20ft and 40ft, has been measured with an increase of +72% compared to the same period in 2013, this is equally divided between “seasonal” hires related to temporary needs and long term lease. Star Service have also finalized biannual rental contracts mainly for customers requiring long term storage at extremely low temperatures from -25°C to -40°C.
Every month the numbers of units on rent increases as well as the widespread coverage on the Italian market and thanks to our new warehouse in Rome we guarantee short delivery time throughout central Italy at low costs. In September we launched a new product within the ArcticStore family, the 10ft ArcticStore – 3 meters, which is ideal for customers with limited space to store the container.
The 10ft ArcticStore is small, but powerful and thanks to the Thermo King Magnum Plus engine we can ensure a temperature range from -40°C to +30°C.
After the “hot” summer season, our ArcticStore containers are now ready for the Christmas period, where many food and beverage companies will need extra storage space in a temperature controlled environment.
