With greatly increased container throughput in London & the Home Counties TITAN are now moving in to our latest Container Centre which is located in West Thurrock.
This 100% paved site is strategically well placed with easy access to the M25 and roads into East London and Essex. Some small site improvements are required before we can re-locate the TITAN office from the current Grays address and commence full services.
Temporary container handling equipment is already on site in advance of transferring TITAN’s Kalmar container handler later this month from the current operating agreement at the Fielding’s depot that is in the process of relocating.
TITAN’s hiab vehicles are already running in and out of the new depot and the first self storage containers will be located on site within a day or two.
There will be ground level 20’ and 40’ self storage containers as well as smaller containers with easy access even for car and boat storage.
Our existing self store site located just 5 minutes away in Grays will have increased capacity when the offices and a single major storage customer are relocated to the new site.
We will downsize the container storage facilities in Gravesend but this will remain operational to maintain optimal service to our many customers in Kent and South East London.
Whilst we depend upon external service suppliers to complete their work we expect Container Centre West Thurrock to be fully operational during September.
