After many years of close cooperation with TITAN the directors of Avon Site Trans Ltd and TITAN Containers A/S are delighted to inform that TITAN Containers will be acquiring 100% of the equity and assets of Avon Site Trans Ltd. Completion is expected during September.
In order to avoid additional administration it has further been agreed that effective 1st September TITAN will assume the management of their business interests.
The business interests of Avon Site including the container depot & repairs, specialist haulage and container & cabin rentals and sales will continue as previously but as TITAN Containers A/S. All staff previously employed by Avon Site will join TITAN; therefor daily contacts will largely remain unchanged.
As Mark Bennett, a director of Avon Site expressed, “developing the business as a local or even regional player was becoming increasing difficult. In TITAN, we have now the network and the support required to not only maintain our existing services but to expand these with TITAN’s extensive range of products and services. We consider this a real win win scenario. Good for the customers, good for the Avonmouth team and good for TITAN. I am really enthusiastic about the future.”
TITAN looks forward to the many market advantages this agreement will bring through the significant local knowledge and the network being added to TITAN’s existing UK services.
