During the INTERMODAL exhibition in Hamburg, Star Service and TITAN ArcticStore were able to celebrate the continued success of refrigerated container business across the Italian market. last quarter of 2013 will conclude a very positive year where the leasing (short-term and long-term) of ArcticStore containers saw a significant increase across the whole territory. Furthermore, thanks to the arrival of new 20' and 40' ArcticStore equipped with Thermo King machineries, Star Service will be able to satisfy the Christmas peak season requests for temperature controlled containers. Production of new ArcticStore's will continue during the first quater of 2014 allowing us to build on our success.
The growing presence of ArcticStore in Italy is also improving our maintenance network. Despite the reliability of MAGNUM PLUS (brand new 2012-2013 production) Thermo King has decided to expand even further in central and southern Italy, increasing their ability to service our reefer containers.
Last but not least, for storage of goods at extremely low temperatures from -40°C to -60°C, we are now able to provide (for long-term rental) new ArcticStore containers equipped with Thermo King SUPERFREEZER. These machines are fitted with special insulation and a double compressor to operate at temperatures down to -60°C. Please note that all the ArcticStore units present in Italy can reach temperatures from -40°C to +30C°.
