In December 2015 an Antonov Cargo Plane took off from Turin airport (Caselle) destination Baikonur Cosmodrome (Kazakstan), on board were a 20’ TITAN container and a 20’ ArcticStore Reefer, carrying some very special components for the ExoMars project.
Exomars is an exploration project of the planet Mars developed by the European Space Agency (ESA) and made up of two missions which are tasked with the goal of seeking biological traces on Mars. The first mission will be launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome with a Proton-M between the 14th and 25th March 2016.
Definitely a very unusual and specialised use of our standard units and new generation ArcticStore reefers, which again demonstrates the extreme reliability of our products and services!
