How it works

Increased insulation.

To help the machine to rapidly realise the set point required and to reduce power costs to maintain temperature the design has incorporated significant additional insulation in key areas reducing heat gain.

Special Machinery and Design.

The machine is a dual compressor solution where pre-cooled refrigerant is further reduced in temperature prior to heat exchange with the internal air.

Traditional full end doors have been replaced with a single door. This dramatically reduces air loss around the insulated door and the rubber door sealing.

Temperature variance with door opening and de-frost events.

It is inevitable that when opening the storage container doors there will be temperature gain with much hotter ambient air entering the cold zone. This is totally unavoidable! The single smaller door reduces this heat gain compared with traditional double doors. De-frost cycles similarly create warmer air in the container just beneath the ceiling. As vaccines are normally delivered and stored in insulated transport boxes neither of these events should have a negative impact on vaccine temperature.

Please remember - a high CO2 content atmosphere can occur, if storing transport boxes with dry ice content.
