Wind and solar power for self storage lighting. After trials all power for storage room and corridor lighting in TITAN's Taastrup self store facility has been switched the renewable power from roof mounted micro windmills and 3 solar panels.
The green energy is converted and then stored in industrial batteries. All lighting is on demand from movement sensors.
Taastrup is TITAN's research centre for new concepts, products and services and in service trials continue ahead of new MultiStore installations later this year. In particular tests on reducing the effect of solar heating of self storage container sites will shortly commence.
