10 ArcticStores keep German trade fair guests fed and watered

When a large trade fair in Düsseldorf faced the challenge of keeping food and drink perfectly chilled for thousands of attendees, TITAN Germany stepped in with a whole fleet of high-tech refrigerated containers.
THE CHALLENGE
A good trade fair is designed to draw a huge crowd – and large groups of people means catering.
As venues often don’t have the infrastructure to keep food and drinks chilled during trade fairs, they commonly rely on TITAN to provide refrigerated containers.
TITAN Germany’s client knew that the demand for food and drinks during a large print media event would be high and turned to us for support.
An existing TITAN customer, they came to us because they knew they could rely on us for great service – and the best cold storage solutions around.
But the trade fair required extra-special planning: we had to deliver 10 x 20ft containers in a single day.
THE SOLUTION
Like many large TITAN client engagements, logistics played a significant role in the trade fair booking.
As Düsseldorf is roughly 50km from the Netherlands border, the TITAN Germany team brought in their Dutch colleagues to help.
The client needed 10 ArcticStores for two months; these were delivered using a combination of Hiab vehicles and 12m/40ft flatbeds that could transport two 20-footers at a time.
All 10 containers were delivered and put into position at the trade fair venue in a single day, as requested.
Collectively, they offered an impressive 10,000 cubic feet (283 m³) of storage space.
THE VERDICT
