A storage hat-trick for TITAN at the UEFA Super Cup

TITAN has multiple capabilities, including cold storage, custom-made site accommodation and general storage solutions. Being asked to bring all three of these to Greece was a special treat!
The challenge
It’s not every day that a single client gets in touch to ask for help that involves key players from multiple TITAN businesses – especially a client as prestigious as UEFA (or, more specifically, their Broadcast team).
They wanted experts from our storage container division, our cold storage specialists and our bespoke conversions unit to come together to provide an integrated solution for the Super Cup in Greece.
We were more than up for the challenge.
The solution
Working closely with the client, we proposed a plan that featured a very specific combination of TITAN containers to meet the needs of their Broadcast team. First up, we needed to cover their general storage needs – they wanted nine 20-footers to provide safe, dry storage for key supplies and equipment during the match (and the run-up to it).
Next, we were asked to take care of cold storage to ensure that perishable goods were kept at the optimum temperature for the duration of the event. We calculated that three ArcticStore models would be required.
Finally, the engineers at TITAN4People, our portable office and site accommodation experts, were asked to create a set of one-off, air-conditioned functional spaces at the event. This part of the brief would require multiple different units in various configurations.
The delivery
Trundling more than 18 storage containers through city streets just a few miles from the centre of Athens requires skill, patience and experience – three things that TITAN’s delivery drivers have in abundance. They positioned all the containers exactly where they were needed at the specified time. This kind of reliability is one of the many reasons so many clients count on us.
The results
Another satisfied customer! Everything went without a hitch, meaning broadcasting hardware was kept safe, drinks stayed chilled, and guests and officials had a comfortable stay in their suite of custom-made accommodation units. As for the match, Manchester City won on penalties.
