Rent a tunnel container with a door at each end
Our fantastic double door containers – also known as tunnel containers – have three different uses:
1 They offer the easiest possible access to goods at either end of your container (no need to unload everything to get to the back).
2 They can be split into two units (using partition walls), each with its own lockable entrance door.
3 They can be fully opened up to form a covered tunnel – perfect for funnelling people into an event (to check tickets or handbags, etc.), such as a concert or a football match.
TITAN has a large selection of 20ft and 40ft double door containers available for rent worldwide, and we offer fast, competitively priced delivery.

Fast access to all your goods
When you rent a standard storage container, it will often be exactly what you need. But sometimes getting to the things you packed first – which are right at the back of the container – can be a challenge.
Here’s how a double door container makes things simpler:
Load at both ends
Simply put one type of goods at one end and another at the other – or keep a log of what you stored where so you can easily work out which door offers the quickest access.
Add a physical wall
We can even add it for you. It will help ensure that products intended for one side don’t spill over into the other. It’s like having two containers in one.
How ‘split’ tunnel containers are commonly used
Two separate lock-ups
Private clients often use one side as a mini garage for working on cars or motorcycles, while the other side serves as general storage.
A multi-use container
Many businesses like to split a container in two so they can mix and match storage areas for different types of products, tools or machinery. And remember, your partition wall doesn’t need to be in the middle: it can be anywhere you need it.
A temporary tunnel for all weathers
If you’re managing an event where people need to queue to enter the venue, a double-door container can serve as a convenient, portable tunnel to funnel visitors before entry. Here are two examples of what’s possible when you rent tunnel containers from us:
A security check pre-match
Keep staff and guests out of the wind and rain during security checks as people enter your venue. Great for concerts, sporting events, festivals, Christmas markets and more.
A portable ticket booth
When customers have to show their tickets on their way into an event, one or more double door containers laid end to end can keep dozens of people out of the rain as they queue. Two 40ft containers end to end is enough for two lines of around 60 people queueing at once.
In addition, four tunnel containers can be joined end-to-end to create a protected pedestrian/bicycle walkway during construction work. This is often a must-have during inner-city/residential building projects. Our tunnel containers for hire protect people both from above and from the sides, and internal lighting can be added on request.
Need something bigger? Choose a high cube
Our high cube tunnel containers raise the ceiling height to 2.69m – meaning you can get around 10% more goods inside. If you’re using a double door container as a tunnel, it makes the whole experience seem more room-like.
Tunnel containers are only available in selected territories. Please check with your local depot.
